Dan-How Perforation ApS was founded in 1977 - 78 by Viggo Demandt and some business partners as a result of a number of experiments on micro-perforation of pre-lacquered steel and aluminium. Their basis was founded on thorough technical knowledge as well as great experience in the design of punching tools for general perforation.

Their initial tests soon concluded in that micro-perforation depends on many more aspects than immediately expected. Their tests continued and were intensified, too. Their objective was achieved and now forms the basis of the existence of Dan-How Perforation ApS. Our company now stands as a highly reputable specialist in micro-perforation of pre-lacquered steel and aluminium.

The method applied is that of a highly automated production process specially developed by Dan-How Perforation ApS, and is based on continuous perforation of coils using punching tools made by Dan-How Perforation ApS. The design of our tools is simple, and thus flexible. Consequently, tool costs are financially competitive, offering a short time of delivery, and nearly all perforation requirements can be met.

The use of pre-lacquered steel and aluminium offers considerable environmental benefits.

Dan-How Perforation ApS customers include any users of low-gauge metal, such as manufacturers of venetian blinds, shutters, ventilation, filters, and metal ceilings. The lighting industry, too, increasingly uses perforated plates of pre-lacquered or anodised materials. Recently, perforation in plastic for the pharmaceutical industry has been added.
